SKY ARTS Portrait Artist of the Year

This month I painted a self portrait, and a portrait of my partner, which I used to enter the televised painting competition for portrait artists of all levels.

I entered this competition last year but did not make it onto the show, I feel my skills have greatly improved since last year. Especially my understanding of colour.

These paintings have given me confidence and reassurance so I’m excited to paint more in the coming months.
